You'll even be able to find others with similar interests and expertise. It's currently available in English, Kiswahili and Español, so you can start to connect with a genuinely global audience of likeminded MDGTaggers. Yes, its really that simple!

A word about globalisation

A really nice aspect of the whole MDGTagger project is that it provides a mechanism for global MDG professionals to find each other and connect over topics of common interest, regardless of language. By the magic of a consistent hastag taxonomy, we can start to bring people together whether they speak/write English, Spanish, Swahili, Portuguese, etc, etc.  So that's wonderful!  It does of course also mean that the MDGTagger team needs to provide a level of support in all those languages too.  A this stage in the game the only way to do that is via the  magic of Machine Translation.  So thanks very much Googl Translate. Srlsly.    As you are probably aware, machine translation, is awesome, but far from perfect, so if you happen to be a native Kiswahili speaker, say,  and you spot that we have got a dodgy translation of something, please do let us know via the blog comments here
cheers

UPDATE: well, seeing as I was relying on Google to translate everything anyway ( they did Swahili, freetranslation.com did not) I thought I'd see what else was available. A nice tool that is provided is the embedded web page translator (http://translate.google.com/translate_tools) . Basically, rather than me having to go through and create different language versions of all my pages, just add the translation widget and let users choose for themselves. Magic! lets see how we get on.
